The Granfalloons”When I Die” (2009)

I wrote “When I Die” around 2001 when I was living on Bagwell Circle in Carrollton, GA. I was listening to a lot of old folk tunes about death, murder ballads, etc. This song came to life and quickly became my mother’s favorite request at shows. In 2009, I recorded this version with the Granfalloons featuring David Blackmon on the fiddle. It was never released until now. Enjoy!
