Thunder Monkey (2005-2010) was an impromptu project featuring Matthew Williams on guitar, Kevin Lyle on drums and Steve Abercrombie on bass. We never rehearsed any of the material and never wrote a setlist for the shows. We would plug in and start playing. Since Steve and I had been playing music together since 1994, there was plenty of material that flowed out. Thunder Monkey recorded the album “Detonated” with local sound guru Neal Yearta.
